Terms

• These are our trading terms and you agree to them when you purchase from our website, it is worth taking a few moments to read through them because they explain how we will deal with your order. We keep them as brief as possible and start with the most important items.

Returns Policy Planters (Important - please read)

• Not all of the items that you order from us are returnable. If an item is "made to order" or is a "non-stock item" imported specially, you will not be able to return it. It is easy to identify items that are returnable - look for a 3 in the last box on the pricelist. If you see this, the item is returnable. If you see a 10 or MTO you will not be able to return this item, because it will have been imported or made specially for you. If in any doubt, please contact us before ordering.

• If you wish to return a stock item we must be notified of items you intend to return within 7 days of delivery and it is up to you to organise the safe return of any item. Providing you do this and the goods arrive in good unused condition we will give you a full refund for the value of the product. Carriage charges are not refundable.

• If you find returning the goods difficult we will arrange for the goods to be collected but the costs we incur in doing this will be deducted from your refund. Carriage charges are not refundable.

Returns Policy Ready Planted Displays (Important - please read)

• Please note that ALL ready planted displays are made to order and are not returnable.

Carriage/Shipping (Important - please read)

• The prices shown on the website exclude all carriage charges, orders of £300.00 and over are normally carriage free to the UK mainland except for bulky items that need to be sent by palletised delivery.

• VERY IMPORTANT - Please check your goods on arrival, if you are unable to do this sign for the goods as "Unexamined". The driver will normally require a signature, if you are likely to be out please leave a note for the driver with instructions ie; leave in shed, leave with neighbour at No 32, etc., the driver will then do this (though at your risk).

• If your goods arrive damaged please refuse delivery. If you discover that goods are damaged after the driver has gone, let us know within three working days, providing you do this we will supply a free of charge replacement.

When we Process your Credit or Debit Card

• When you purchase from us we will process your credit or debit card when we despatch, in the event of a stock item, or when we order, in the case of an imported or, made to order, item. We can also accept payment by cheque or through PayPal transfers to sales@officeplants.co.uk, cheques are banked upon receipt and PayPal payments are made at the time of the transaction.

Value Added Tax and Foreign Taxes

• It is important to note that this is primarily a Business to Business website, the prices are therefore shown exclusive of Value Added Tax. You will receive a VAT invoice with your goods. If you are outside of the EEC you will not be charged Value Added Tax but you may still be required to pay local taxes or duties, we are not responsible for these. Details of the amount of Value Added Tax payable is shown when you click the BUY button.

Sizes and Suitability

• Please note that all sizes are approximate. We do not guarantee plants unless we maintain them and it is the customers responsibility to choose a suitable environment for the plants selected (we are happy to give you some guidance, if asked).

Website Abuse

• Please do not interfere with the operation of our website or attempt to make a fraudulent transaction. If you do we will be quite upset and may report your attempted hack or fraud to the authorities and may also seek to recover damages from you.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

• Office Planters reserves the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time by, posting a revised page on our website. The terms of our contract with you will be based upon those terms and conditions current at the time you placed your order. (We have set this page so that it prints out nicely on most printers so why not print yourself a copy).

Applicable Law

• Office Planters is a partnership based in England. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. All disputes arising out of your access to this website or any transactions resulting from such use, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships  are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
